HENMAN OPENS LTA TENNIS ACADEMY: British number one, Tim Henman, was hitting with some of the country’s top juniors at the opening of the LTA’s Tennis Academy at the University of Bath on Monday 10th November 2003. LTA Head of Facilities, Justin Smith said: “Bath Academy continues the LTA’s drive to get people of all standards playing tennis across the country. The 700,000 increase in participation since 2002 suggests that our continued investment in indoor facilities is having a real impact.”

BRITONS REACH NOTTINGHAM INDOOR FINALS: NEC Wheelchair Tennis, Nottingham - Britain’s Kay Forshaw, Jayant Mistry and Mark Eccleston each reached their respective Men’s, Women and Quad Main Draw Singles finals at last week’s Nottingham Indoor Wheelchair Tennis Tournament, a part of the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour and the third and final British-based world ranking tournament of 2003.
