Davis Cup

Davis Cup 8 - 10 February.

A group of Gloucestershire's youngest players, along with a similar group of young players from Staffordshire, gave a demonstration of mini tennis on the final day of the World Group Tennis, at the NIA in Birmingham, when England played Sweden in the Davis Cup.

Mrs Chris Rivers, our C D O. who was helped by several coaches from around the County, led the players from Gloucestershire. After the demonstration, in front of several thousand spectators, the players and their coaches had ringside seats to watch the final two matches of the competition. In a few years time will one of our mini tennis players be representing G. B. in another Davis Cup Match? We hope so.
