East Glos Open Day - Play Tennis for Free!
With Wimbledon in full swing, East Glos is throwing open its doors this Saturday 26 June and invites beginners, rusty returners and budding Tim Henmans the chance to play tennis for free.
The day is in two parts. The kids session is from 9:30am to 12 midday. Adults can come along from 2pm to 4:30pm. Our team of coaches will be on hand to offer free tips and advice and we’ll also have a speed gun so you can test the speed of your serve!
Don’t worry if you haven’t got a racket, we’ll lend you one. All we ask is that you turn up in sports gear, but don’t worry, you don’t have to wear all whites and we won’t force you drink tea and eat cucumber sandwiches...those days are long gone!
Finally, if you want to see the top players in Gloucestershire in action w’'ve got the finals of the Senior County Closed taking place on Saturday afternoon. All are welcome to come along and watch.
