GLTA Annual General Meeting 2006

This year's A.G.M. will be held on Monday December 4th at 7.30 pm. at Oxstalls indoor centre. I would like to remind you that under the Association's Constitution, the Council, any Club or member (as defined under the rules) may put forward a motion at the Annual General Meeting, supported by a seconder, provided that written notice thereof be given to the Honorary Secretary on or before the first day of October.

Presentations:
The following awards will be made during the AGM and nominations are required before the first day in November from Clubs.

• The Chris Reid Trophy will be awarded to a person nominated by the Council or Club for his or her outstanding contribution to tennis in Gloucestershire.
• The Club of the Year award is presented to the Club which has had an outstanding year in the provision of tennis within the County during the last twelve months.
• The Chris Rivers Award for the GLTA Coach of the Year will be presented to a coach for work within the County.

Full details of the above awards can be obtained from Morgana at the County Office.

The League Awards:
As usual the Gloucestershire Tennis League awards will be made immediately after the AGM.

The Executive and Council look forward to meeting you all on December 4th.

New feature - don't miss out - County LTA communication

The brand new Gloucestershire LTA e-newsletter has arrived. This county led communication will be produced every two months and will include information vital to Club, Coach and Player development. Some of the features you will find in the August edition include Clubmark, Tournament dates and coaching jobs etc. This will be one of the main lines of communication between the county office and the Gloucestershire tennis network!

The e-newsletter will be sent by email to our current contact list including Clubs, Coaches, Players and Parents but only if we have your email.
